Emery Veronica 'Emmy' Hiddleston (née Hart) is the daughter of Violet and Thomas Hart. Emmy and her sister Nora arrived in Rosewood in December 2012. They are an extension of the already established Hart family. Emmy quickly became a prominent character, taking over the Wellbourne pub and forming a relationship with her business partner, Jasper Hiddleston.
Emmy is the oldest daughter of Thomas Hart and Violet Leroy. She was raped several times by her father at the age of 13. The following year, she fell pregnant by her boyfriend. Violet committed suicide when Emmy was five months pregnant, as a result of Thomas being arrested for child abuse.Emmy and her siblings went to live with distant relatives, where she gave birth to her daughter, Amy, on 26 June. Within hours of the birth, Emmy had the baby adopted.
